Idea for a book.

So i get this idea.
I'm going to write a book.
After many idea's about what to write it about I finally settle on one.

SteamWorld

A scifi AU book.
It starts out in the future. A single brilliant man revolutionizes the world. Creating one thing after another to make things easier, safer, more advanced. Until he comes up with an idea at the age of 80 he finally proves that alternate universes are real. He being to old to really be able to go through the dimensional rift hires a brilliant up and coming engineering student to be sent through. And thats where the adventure begins.
